**About Us**
Our client, a vitamins and fine chemicals manufacturing company based in Sydney is looking for 10 machine operators to join the team.

**About the role**
Based at our extensive manufacturing facility in Regents Park, you'll work alongside a team who are hardworking and safety focused, where you'll work 8-hour shifts, rotating over days and nights.

This is a full-time position where you can utilize your experience in machine operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement to achieve better outcomes for the business.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Work in compliance to the company's health and safety procedure and policy
- Work together with production and maintenance teams to achieve production objectives.
- Control processes via computerized system to ensure maximum production.
- Prepare raw materials and material flows to the machines efficiently
- When encounter problems, assist in troubleshooting and escalate the breakdowns promptly to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure raw material feed quality is at its optimal without affecting mill operations and finished products.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

**About you**
We are seeking a team member who is self-reliance, pro-active, good work ethics and reliable.

The ideal applicant will have:

- Previous machine operation experience in similar roles preferred but not essential
- Three work shifts to choose from: 7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; 11pm-7am; afternoon and night shirt paid with penalty rates
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Able to accurately follow written procedures and verbal instructions
- Ability to accurately record manufacturing and quality data
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Mechanical or Electrical trade background is advantageous but not essential.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
