**About the Role**

This hands-on role involves working on a broad range of premium vessels, from classic timber yachts to modern luxury cruisers. You’ll be performing everything from detailed timber joinery and fibreglass repairs to major structural work and custom fit-outs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Restoration and structural repairs on **classic timber vessels**:

- Fit-outs and custom joinery for **luxury cruisers**:

- Maintenance and repair of **racing yachts** for one of Sydney’s busiest yacht clubs
- Fibreglass and composite repairs using marine-grade materials
- Timber deck repairs and replacements
- Collaborating with a small, skilled team to deliver high-quality outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Trade-qualified Shipwright or Boat Builder
- Strong experience working with timber and composite vessels
- Skilled in fibreglass, epoxy work, and deck construction
- High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Ability to interpret plans and solve problems on the go

**Start Date**: Immediate or negotiable

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Shipwright: 3 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
