**About the Role**

Delivery driver required for Sydney metro runs to customer locations. You will be responsible for completing deliveries in a timely manner while following food quality and safety requirements.

You will also maintain a high level or customer service, professionalism and presentation when interacting with customers and the public as a representative of Zammit Ham and Bacon Curers.

Normal hours start 5am with flexible finish times. Minimal 30 hrs/ week, Monday to Friday

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow the assigned delivery run and determine the most appropriate delivery routes to make on time deliveries
- Undertake hand delivery and assist with pallet delivery orders to varied customer locations across Sydney Metro area
- Pack appropriate orders into vehicle and check against invoices
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. Including regular cleaning inside/ out of vehicle and reporting any maintenance or service requirements
- Collect payment on delivery if requested and submit all payments received upon return to company
- Adhere to all safety signage and PPE requirements
- Complete any records and follow procedures regarding any product returns and deliveries
- Report any traffic related, parking offences or vehicle related incidents. Parking and speeding related fines will not be covered by the company
- Follow all parking and traffic management conditions including awareness of forklift operations both onsite and at customers premises
- Maintain communication with Dispatch relating to any delays or issues relating to delivery run
- Comply with all requirements relating to WHS, Food Safey and Quality standards
- Undertake other related activities as required

**What you Bring**
- Experienced in delivery driving (mínimal 2 years)
- Experience in food services industry and knowledge of greater Sydney roads (highly desired)
- Ability to work with limited supervision, able to prioritise work and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physically fit and ability to do manual handling work with capability to lift boxes 10 to 20kgs
- Ability to operate pallet jack, hand trollies and other delivery equipment
- Valid driver’s license MR class or above and a clean driving record
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability and motivation
- Full unrestricted working rights
