**The Role and Opportunity**

We are looking for an empathetic and passionate **Rehabilitation Counsellor**to join our lovely team.

You will provide the best customer service by understanding the person holistically as we have clients who are in different stages of being ready to move to a new workplace or return to work.

Therefore, as the successful applicant, you will be able to:

- Manage a small number of cases.
- Provide Same and New Employer Case Management services in Workplace Occupational Rehabilitation.
- Continue our winning, collaborative & quality-focused team culture of customer service. 
- Understand and implement problem solving actions according to a client’s goals, needs, interests, experience and skills.
- Problem solve and provide tailored approaches to assist our clients with achieving their goals.
- Create and maintain relationships with the community and employers to increase opportunities for our clients.
- Provide tailored cold canvassing services for our clients.

**Requirements and Experience**:

- SIRA Workers Compensation experience  minimum of 2 years
- Job Seeking experience minimum of 2 years
- Degree qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Worker (or similar)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- A genuine passion in Occupational Health, Occupational Rehabilitation & helping people achieve their goals of securing sustainable employment.
- A "can do" attitude and enthusiastic approach to helping people
- A lifelong learner and team player
- Current Driver's license
