**The Position**
When it comes to the role of emergency medicine registrar, specific duties will vary dependent and some will be negotiated with the relevant supervising consultant, the Department of emergency Medicine and the individual. Each position is supervised by senior medical staff, although a reasonable degree of autonomy is expected. All Registrars and trainees should provide leadership to junior residents working in the same clinical unit. Some of our clients are teaching hospitals are accredited with ACEM.

**The Hospital**
We work with major city tertiary hospitals as well as rural and coastal district hospitals. UExcel Medical Recruitment specialises in permanent recruitment only, and the hospitals that require assistance in this space.

**The Location**
Current Emergency Medicine roles are available in;
Mornington Peninsula - Melbourne,
Brisbane
- Queensland,
Perth - Western Australia,
Royal Hobart - Tasmania.

**Remuneration**
Remuneration is at award rate relevant to each state and territory. An emergency medicine registrar can expect to earn between 130-170k

Essential Criteria
General or Provisional Registration with AHPRA OR eligible via competent authority pathway. At least three year post graduate medical experience. Minimum six months in emergency Medicine.
