Assistant Educators

**Mayfield Early Education Oakbank** is currently seeking;
Experienced **Assistant Educators** to join our team with casual and permanent part-time positions available. (Mon to Fri)

**About your role**

Assist in the development and implementation and oversee relevant and appropriate programs/curriculum. Must be able to work during centre's operational hours from 6.30am -6.30pm.
- Ensure room programs are current, available and accessible at all times
- Learning stories, observations, portfolios and other relevant documentation
- Assist in ensuring every child is provided with a developmental assessment
- Contribute to the Implementation of intentional teaching initiatives and scheduled calendar events
- Promote and advertise upcoming events to families
- Ensure the educational program is reflected in the indoors and outdoors environment

**Skills and experiences**
- Hold or be working towards **Certificate III** or **Diploma in Early Childhood Education** (or equivalent ACECQA)
- Regulatory approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Current (WWCC) Working with Children Check
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven knowledge of the approved learning frameworks and the NQS
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Evidence of quality documentation
- A team player.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Contract

**Salary**: $26.18 - $36.85 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Rotating roster
