- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team at Clinical Chemistry at the Central Laboratoy at North Ryde. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Perform routine diagnostic assays including receipt and processing of specimens, recording and validating results are required.
- Perform routine and as needed maintenance of chemistry analysers.
- Answering queries from external and internal sources.
- Assist in stocktake and receipt of stocks.
- Participate in continuing medical education
- Perform necessary corrective action on a day to day basis needed as a result of instrument failure, assay and QC failure etc., in consultation with senior scientists.

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- A Diploma or a degree in Biomedical Science obtained from a recognised Australian institution
- A current full unrestricted driver licence may be required
- Ability to demonstrate sound organisation skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure
