Experienced Deli Assistants Required

Are you someone with experience in Deli and looking for a change?

Join our small and family operated business located in Greystanes Shopping Center.

**Tasks**:
1. Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses and sandwiches.
2. Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and recommendations.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and surrounding areas.
4. Receive and unpack deliveries of deli products, ensuring proper storage and rotation of items.
5. Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales and grills safely and efficiently.
6. Follow food safety and hygiene procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
7. Stock and replenish deli products, including meats, cheeses, and condiments.
8. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
9. Assist in creating and updating deli menus and promotional displays.
10. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and provide excellent customer service.

We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Deli / Butchery: 1 year (required)
