**About The Role**
Due to an aggressive growth strategy for 2025 and to compliment the successful recruitment campaign for the development team in 2024, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Town Planner to join our team. As Town Planner you will be an integral part of the Development Team, working within the Design and Planning function, to assist with the coordination of development activities for projects within the business and extensive asset portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Engage with consultants to prepare reports on planning matters and in support of Development Applications.
- Conduct research and undertake due diligence reviews to establish the development potential of sites.
- Support the stakeholder management process with government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups to gather input, address concerns, and promote consensus-building in the planning process.
- Provide planning input and guidance for design proposals, for the expansion and development of existing asset base.
- Coordinate and manage third parties undertaking environmental assessments and impact studies to identify potential risks and opportunities associated with development projects.
- Provide advice and guidance to project teams on Planning matters.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of planning reports, presentations, and recommendations to planning commissions, city councils, and other governing bodies.
**About You**
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field combined with experience in urban planning, with a focus on comprehensive planning, zoning, and land use regulations. This role is targeted towards someone who is wanting to develop their career in Planning and environmental approvals. You will be working with experienced professionals, with a strong focus on career development and the investment and training of our staff.
