**Our Team**
The Monash Health finance department is a multidisciplinary team that undertakes a variety of professional services to support our health service. The activities undertaken by department range anywhere from processing to oversight of key activities. Two particular disciplines with the department are the Audit and Assurance directorate and Finance and Strategy Directorate.
The Audit and Assurance is a key financial governance portfolio and incorporates a number of functions, involving the collaboration and interaction with employees across the finance department services and the wider Monash Health business. The area is responsible for ensuring appropriate governance activities are in place to provide assurance to the Monash Health Audit Committee that the key risks and compliance obligations are being appropriately managed.
The Finance and Strategy’s primary focus is making contributions to the future direction of the following contexts:
Finance Department - Supports new opportunities for the department’s development or assists in resolving issues that affect most or all of the group.
Organisation - Financial leadership, perspective and contributions are made to enterprise level priorities. This involves working with senior stakeholders to ensure that their strategic activities consider their financial footprint and being a catalyst for better strategic outcomes through considered resource usage.
This is a full time role that will report directly to the Director Audit and Assurance but will also be key in supporting Director Finance and Strategy.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a positive impact at the highest levels of Monash Health. The work directly supports outcomes required for our board and executive. You will work with a variety of stakeholders from different teams and entities. The role is responsible for supporting governance practices and driving strategic initiatives to ensure the organisation's effectiveness, compliance, and long-term success.

**What you need**:
- Degree qualified
- Current Drivers Licence
- 3+ years’ experience with engagement, collaboration and influence roles
