**About the role**: Are you a creative, passionate, and compassionate Disability Support Worker? If you’re looking for a fun, rewarding role, keep reading because we have something special for you We're seeking amazing people to support a vibrant young lady in Keperra who’s ready to take on the world with your help She’s a creative soul who loves arts and crafts, cooking (her potato bake is legendary), and running her own micro-enterprise with market stalls. She needs Support Workers who can rise and shine—getting her to the market by 5am—as well as helping with community activities, domestic tasks, budgeting, and everyday business. We’re looking for someone who's a bit of a "jack-of-all-trades"—you’ll need to be cookery, crafty, and budgety But most importantly, she’s looking for Support Workers who: Are empathetic, understanding, and patient. Believe in choice and independence. Build confidence by doing things with her, not for her. Have a valid driver’s license, their own car, and full insurance. Are non-judgmental and ready to work as a team. Have knowledge of autism and cerebral palsy. You’ll be there to support her through daily tasks, provide emotional encouragement, and help her thrive in her community and work life. Our friendly Support Specialist will work around your availability to support your other learning and development commitments. - **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**_ - To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered - Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist - Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients’ needs - Provide support to our Clients as required - Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner - Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required - Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients - To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals - **To be Successful you must**_ - Resonate with the role description above - Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) - Hold NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain) - Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card - Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain - preferred) - Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia - Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives **Job Type**: Casual Pay: From $34.45 per hour Schedule: - Day shift - Weekend availability Supplementary Pay: - Penalty rates Application Question(s): - Do you have a current driver licence? - Do you have your own vehicle? - Do you have car comprehensive insurance?
