**What is Major Fun?**

Major Fun brings a range of FUN activities for children under 12 The centre has a soft toddler play area and huge climbing structure all within a safe and secure environment. Not only that, we host a number of children parties and have dedicated party rooms to ensure the day is truly special for every child. Major Fun is a destination for parents and carers to enjoy whilst their children have their own fun.

**About the Role**

We are currently on the hunt for an energetic and motivated Venue Supervisor to join our close-knit team at Major Fun on a **full-time basis** at **Harbord Diggers Club**, located in Freshwater, NSW

As a Venue Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and engaging your team whilst demonstrating a customer-focused attitude that is committed to creating memorable moments for the children and their families that visit the venue.

More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Major Fun Play Centre, Including opening, closing, ordering, cleaning, and customer service
- Coordinate children’s parties and school holiday activities
- Motivating and training your team
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and guests to ensure a smooth operation
- Attend to customers to ensure the ultimate customer service experience is delivered
- Managing operational costs and report of Centre performance
- Assisting in the implementation of marketing and promotional strategies
- Management of employee performance life cycle, including training and development.

**About You**

To be successful for this role, you should have the following:

- A current and cleared Working with Children Check and Provide First Aid Certificate
- Prior experience working in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns promptly
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Able to work a flexible roster across a spread of 7 days, including the opening and closing of Major Fun. Full availability is required, including public holidays, school holidays, weekends, and evenings, along with potentially being called in at short notice on unexpectedly busy days
