**Role Responsibilities**:
As a **Lawns & Gardens Lead**, you will:
- Supervise, guide, and support a team of Supported Employees in garden maintenance tasks.
- Perform lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, and general garden upkeep at residential and commercial properties.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment where Supported Employees can develop their skills.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering independence and confidence.
- Maintain and operate gardening equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Communicate with clients to deliver high-quality service and meet expectations.
- Follow WHS guidelines and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Passion for outdoor work and inclusion - A love for working outside and supporting people with disability.
- Experience in lawn and garden maintenance - Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license - Ability to transport the crew and equipment to job sites.
- Strong communication and leadership skills - Patience and the ability to adapt your training style to different learning needs.
- Commitment to safety - Understanding of WHS guidelines and safe work practices.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude - Someone who enjoys working with a diverse range of people.
