**Internal Auditor**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Auditor to join Eagers Automotive. This unique role will provide you the ability to gain real world experience and professional development across the automotive industry. Reporting to the General Manager Internal Audit and Risk, you will work within the Internal Audit Team by evaluating performance and identifying actionable ways to improve. You will also work with Dealerships, Service and Sales Managers and Operational Managers, reviewing compliance to process and governance.
**As an Internal Auditor, you will**:
- Independently conduct auditing throughout the region and monitoring procedures that identify, manage and report on financial risk and capital management,
- Monitoring core non-negotiable procedures on a quarterly basis,
- Prepare audit documentation, working papers and data analysis using complex excel formula,
- Utilise Power BI forms for reporting audit results and memorandums,
- Analyse data using ERA dealer management system reporting,
- Provide insights into areas of opportunity for business improvement,
- Provide data analysis and reporting on the risks and controls of the organisation (manual journals parts adjustments),
- Work on special projects as directed.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering, Law or Mathematics.
- Experience in cash handling and reconciliation of a cash till.
- Able to conduct stock takes unsupervised
- Interest in information analysis and ability to conduct research.
- Willingness to travel throughout Queensland and Northern Territory
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills in Excel and Word.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A background in the automotive industry and previous experience in a Dealership Management system is essential.

- The successful applicant will receive a full-time role with competitive salary of between $65,000 and $80,000 per year depending on experience.
