Singing Teacher

**Melodic Minds Music School is on the hunt for a Singing Mentor to teach private and group lessons at our Frankston studio**

**HOURS REQUIRED**
- **Monday 4-7pm**:

- **Tuesday 4-7pm**:

- **Wednesday 4-6pm**:

- **Friday 4-7pm**:

- **TOTAL 11 Hours per week (with potential to grow)**

**You will be replacing a teacher who is leaving in June. Your 4-week handover and training will begin in May.**

**START DATE: Monday, May 5th.**

- _Australian citizen or permanent resident, or student visa with at least 2 years before expiry_

**TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct private and group singing lessons
- Manage groups of 5 students aged 6 and up
- Light administration such as daily lesson notes, marking attendance and lesson planning
- Building a strong rapport with students and families.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Preparing students for performances.
- Plan and prepare lessons concerning individual students' needs, musical interests and abilities.
- Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical singing techniques to students.

Our client base is mostly primary school-aged children with ages ranging from 5-18. The majority of students are at the beginner or intermediate levels.
