**About the role**

Leisure Services Officers work across several key areas, including:

- **Aquatics**: Swim Teaching, Lifeguarding, and maintaining a safe pool environment.
- **Customer Service**: Reception duties, managing memberships, event ticketing, and promoting our services and programs.
- **Programs & Events**: Assisting with event setup, hosting parties, and ensuring smooth operation of activities.
- **Fitness & Coaching**: Coaching, refereeing, providing gym instruction, and engaging with members on the gym floor.

**Work type: Casual**

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver outstanding customer service across various roles and activities.
- Uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation in all areas of the centre.
- Engage with visitors to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, providing support across multiple areas as needed.

**About you**
- A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications for that area (e.g. Working with Children’s Check, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Certificate III/IV in Fitness).

Leisure Services Officers work across a range of City of Greater Geelong Swim Sport & Leisure facilities, including:

- Bellarine Aquatic & Sports Centre
- Kardinia Aquatic Centre
- Lara Aquatic Centre,
- Leisurelink
- Splashdown
- North Bellarine Aquatic Centre
- Norlane Aquatic Recreation Centre
- Leisuretime Sports Precinct
- Barwon Valley Activity Centre

Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, are essential to meet the needs of our community.
