We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the Seven Hills area.

**Role Overview**:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and teens with varying needs, including ADHD, Autism, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. You will work closely with clients and their families to provide tailored assistance, fostering a supportive environment that promotes growth, development, and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support and guidance to children and teens with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Assist with daily living activities
- Monitor and manage behavioural and emotional challenges
- Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities that promote engagement and personal growth.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with families and care teams.
- Adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols to ensure a secure and respectful environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children and teens with ADHD, Autism, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy, and/or Intellectual Disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
