**Capral Aluminium** is looking for a talented and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to bolster our team’s defences. In this role, you'll play a critical part in safeguarding our digital assets against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. You’ll provide expert guidance on security controls, identify vulnerabilities, implement protective measures, respond to incidents, and stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and trends. **Primary Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity strategy policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct security risk assessments and advise on control improvements.
- Carry out regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Analyse logs, reports, and alerts to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, or breaches.
- Respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents and breaches, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Provide training to employees to promote cybersecurity awareness and adherence to best practices.
- Prepare detailed security reports for management on the organization’s security status.
To be considered applicants **MUST** have:
- Tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of legislative frameworks and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Cybersecurity industry certification (desirable).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
