**About the Team**

The VCAT Preparation team reviews clients whose administration orders are due to be re-assessed and potentially re-appointed under the Guardianship & Administration Act 2019. They address complex issues that may have arisen during State Trustees administration. This includes consulting with external stakeholders, completing a review with the client, consulting with them in relation to their budget, the financial independence program, and gathering a client's will and preference in accordance with the new Act.

**About the Role**

As a Personal Financial Consultant, you will provide personal and tailored support to help individuals who, due to disability, illness or injury and are unable to manage their financial and legal affairs and have been appointed by VCAT.

**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant administration experience
- Ability to prepare commercial standard correspondence, reports and recommendations
- Well-developed professional communication skills (written and spoken)
- Understanding and experience dealing with clients with a disability
- Competent financial literacy
- Basic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft Office

Business administration experience preferably within the financial, legal or disability sectors will help you secure this role.
