NEC is looking for a Team Lead to lead the Midrange team based in Canberra. We are looking for someone who enjoys managing a team of technical engineers in a complex environment.

**About the opportunity**:
To provide professional support and leadership for the Midrange Team. To provide detailed technical guidance to operational teams for problems, critical Wintel and Hypervisor environmental issues.
- Manage and handle escalation for major incidents to the Midrange Team Lead and/or Major Incident Management team (SRMs)
- Support the Incident and Event Management structure
- Identify and escalate any identified need for improvement to the Midrange Lead
- Participate as requested in process forums
- Facilitate engagement and leadership of the team when supporting NEC’s project services operations at the level
- Develop and set Key performance indicators for the Midrange team
- Participate in performance management when required
- Develop and maintain the on call roster for the all of the midrange support team’s
- Facilitate escalations where required 24*7 to ensure appropriate operational requirements are meet by the support teams
- Act as the senior escalation point for all issues
- Work closely with customer to ensure contracted Services are delivered effectively
- Position relationship with the customer to ensure future opportunities are maximised through a solid trusting work relationship

**To be successful, you will need to hold minimum NV1 level security clearance.**
