**About the opportunity**

As a vital member of the international commercial team, this role is accountable for supervising the international volumes injected in the Sydney Bonded facility including but not limited to clearance and outturn but compliance safety, processing efficiencies and securing volume for the last mile. This position also requires interaction with both internal stakeholders and external Parties like service providers, compliance teams and border authorities.

**You’ll also**
- In collaboration with the International Commercial Clearance Team, supervising day to day operations on cargo retrieval and injection to the last mile in conjunction with network last mile operations.
- Managing Transport Allocations both externally and internally.
- Manage warehouse team and have input on other gateways to ensure consistent service and operation up time
- Oversee facility operations to ensure compliance to border authority for 77G regulations
- allocation of appropriate resources through effective and efficient labour planning to enable achievement of facility objectives and targets
- Support new implementation in relation system and product.
- Generating reporting SLA’s on weekly basis in agreed group format
- Ensuring all infrastructure is maintained and in safe working order.
- Ensuring Scan compliance 100%
- Ensuring security policies are met at all times.
- Demonstrate strength and value as a commercial clearance provider

**You’ll also have**
- The ability to assimilate and produce information when reporting, and effectively present key findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside strong influencing and negotiating skills
- A great understanding of achieving results from a service and cost perspective, with sound operational decision making
- Knowledge of CoR and OH&S regulations
- Experience within a supervisory role in an operational setting
- The ability to work within a busy and self-directed team
- Flexibility around shift start/end times & ability to work alternative shift patterns if required
