The Manager, Cyber Security Assurance is responsible for contributing to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Cyber Security policy and processes, projects and other related tasks in relation to the implementation of elements of the SA Government Protective Security Framework (SAPSF), SA Government Cyber Security Framework (SACSF), Third Party Supplier Risk Management Program and providing security assurance for all services provided by OCIO.

**About you**

To be successful you will:

- Lead the effective management of the Cyber Security Program for OCIO, including development of the Assurance Program and ongoing revision.
- Liaise and consult with a range of stakeholders and relevant teams across OCIO in relation to security requirements, assisting with their operational readiness prior to project delivery and operational handover.
- Ensure security standards and management are maintained in alignment with the SA Government SAPSF, SACSF and Conditions of Connection and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop, deliver and manage a Third-Party Risk Assurance Program to bring central oversight of cyber risks posed to government by third parties (e.g. MSPs) to reduce disruptions to service delivery and risk to government information.
- Undertake or participate in investigations into activities that breach security standards and policies, including advice and proactive communication to relevant senior stakeholders.
- Research and provide expert advice on cyber security taking into consideration national and international developments.
- Maintain effective working/strategic relationships with government at the state and national level.
- Participate in an incident management team as part of the Control Agency for Cyber Crisis
