**About the role**

This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and ability to thrive on being a part of a busy theatre department. You will be working alongside a diverse team of doctors, nurses and non-clinical staff.

**Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Theatre Technician is required to**:

- Support theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures
- Assist in positioning patients, whilst respecting and ensuring patient safety
- Ensure dignity is to be maintained at all times in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures and legislative regulations.

**About You**

**You will also bring**:

- **Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent is desirable**:

- Support experience within an acute care environment essential
- Technician experience within an operating theatre will be highly regarded.

**Remuneration**:On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from **$28.00 - $30.15 **+ superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

**Requirements**:
