The Commonfolk Group is looking for a passionate hospitality professional to join our company as a venue manager for our new Beaumaris cafe. As venue manager you would:
- Provide an industry leading customer experience for all our guests
- Develop and lead an incredible team of like minded folks
- Promote a healthy work culture with a focus on accountability, performance, and mental wellbeing
- Help drive sales to hit revenue targets
- Manage wages and cost of goods
- Coordinate with colleagues, production team, and partnerships team to provide meaningful feedback, quality control and suggestions to help improve all areas of food and beverage service
- Be an ambassador for the Commonfolk roastery and promote the sale of our beans and equipment for take home use
IF
- You have three year+ experience in hospitality
- You have one year+ experience in specialty coffee
- You’re passionate about a career in the coffee industry
- You’re obsessed with taking other folks on the journey towards delicious and ethical coffee
- Want to be fairly paid for your work

Running multiple espresso options, a frozen filter coffee menu, and cold brew on tap.
Our cafes are often the first introduction many of our customers have to our coffee, and the embodiment of the values that drive our company. Our baristas are responsible for delivering an incredible coffee experience to our guests by driving quality and efficiency of service, while collaborating with our roasters to ensure the best representation of our coffee program.
