**What is your new role about?**
We are searching for an eager Environment & Heritage Advisor to support mitigation of operational environment and heritage risks across the business utilising established frameworks and support project approvals as Horizon Power decarbonises its regional networks.

Your new role will include:

- Undertake due diligence / risk assessments of operational and project works.
- Support the delivery of environmental approvals.
- Undertake on-site and desktop compliance checks and audits.
- Collect, review and report on data for regulatory compliance.
- Engage with stakeholders for operational works, projects and approvals.
- Provide basic advice on Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title legislative requirements.
- Assist in the delivery of heritage and native title related services and projects.
- Utilise Geographic Information Systems to extract insights and communicate data.

**Our new Environment & Heritage Advisor will have**:

- Tertiary degree, preferably in environmental science or a related discipline.
- Prior operational and/or approvals experience.
- Experience with spatial analysis utilising GIS software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience and ability to interpret legislation in an operational context.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
