- Contract until 31 Aug + extension | Flexible start date
- Based in Logan | $42.96/hr + super
We are currently working a large Local Council. They are looking for a Costing Administration Officer to support the Finance Officer in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the management of the Road Construction & Maintenance (RCM) Branch.
About the role:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for analysing and reviewing cost recovery rates.
- Assist with the production and distribution of timely and accurate financial information and/or reports to meet management and audit requirements.
- Assist the Finance Officer with the end of month and end of year reconciliation processes.
- Maintain the accuracy of financial data. This includes journal preparation, supporting documentation and ledger reconciliations.
- Approving and raising journals.
- Job Costing.
About you:
- Queensland Government experience, highly desired.
- Experience with TechOne
- Experience within the finance or finance administration space. General administration or basic accounts experience not suitable.
