**We are currently looking for an experienced Allocator / Hire Coordinator to join a Transport & Plant Hire company in South Melbourne. This role comprises a mix of fast-paced inbound phone-based interaction with proactive planning, professional response and online administration to coordinate plant & equipment orders.**

**Importantly this role is pivotal in customer facing, ensuring professional and solution focused communication with site, external suppliers and both internal and external stakeholders.**

- Monday to Friday
- Salary range between $90,000 to $120,000 + super
- Must have experience in Plant Hire

**Duties will include**:

- Deal with on-line and telephone enquiries and orders from customers to ensure all orders are interpreted and delivered to the specifications required
- Process hires, off hires, transfers and exchanges
- Process manual paperwork when necessary
- Operate and maintain the daily diary recording of all equipment movements including the reporting of errors and discrepancies
- Liaise with Project Manager's to identify plant and equipment needs
- Organise on hire inspections and site specifications
- Arranging and reviewing hire contracts
- Raise POs as required
- Review of rates/conditions for plant and equipment hire
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other hire companies

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Exceptional customer service skills and well organised administration skills
- Very good database entry skills
- Clear communication with a professional phone manner
- Good cultural fit, work ethic, and be self-motivated
- Multi-tasking in a high volume environment
- Work well under busy demands

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
