Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
This will be a client facing role where you will complete initial risk and mental state assessments, as well as ongoing brief therapeutic intervention.
The Position- Provide evidence based senior Social Work services to patients/carers within the clinical specialty area/s.- Provide Social Work assessment, intervention and evaluation at an advanced practice level for complex and general caseload/s. Provide Social work services to DVA, TAC and Workcover patients- Ensures prioritisation and delegation of duties for own caseload and supervised staff.- Contributes to the evaluation of the Social Work Service and Clinical Specialty, to ensure continuous improvement.- Ensures effective multidisciplinary team work through professional communication and comprehensive liaison with colleagues, patient/carers and service providers.
Eligibility for Mental Health credentialing is essential. You will also possess the ability to provide professional supervision and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth and competence within our caregiver team.

We can offer you- Salary: $122,210 to $130,310 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
