Female Support Workers

Seahorse House at Wamberal has amazing opportunities for fun, enthusiastic and skilled support workers to join their team.

Working with an energetic client you will be part of a team that will provide support within the participant's home and out in the community.

The participant enjoys being out and about at local parks and is always listening to music

Duties include:

- Personal care and manual handling including assisting with showering, dressing, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, transport, recreational activities.
- Updating charts and daily notes about client’s progress.
- Support client with medication management.
- Liaise with the family, keeping them up to date with daily progress for their child
- Contribute to the overall care, health and wellbeing
- Support social engagement and inclusion
- Undertake rostered duties including sleepovers.
- Carry out household duties including cleaning and meal preparation.
- Participate in team meetings, house meetings, case conferences and case review meetings as required.
- Maintain records and documentation as required [including case notes, communication books, incident reports, hazard and injury log etc
- Support participant to remain connected to the significant people and places in their lives
- Contribute to planning and record keeping.
- Work within the principles of person-centred practices.
- Adhere to Health & Safety manuals and procedures.

Pay: $24.95 - $50.59 per hour
