About the role

As a Bookkeeper at Fordham, you will:
- Report to the Assistant Manager Bookkeeping, and be part of a team of approx. 25 Accountants and Bookkeepers- Process payroll, super, work cover, payroll tax, leave, onboarding and offboarding employees, for Fordham clients- Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense claims- Undertake periodic bank reconciliations and generic ledger reconciliations- Prepare supporting workpapers in Excel, and assist with preparing management reporting for clients- Liaise with clients on their queries, and to obtain information

About you- Experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role- Experience in payroll and XERO- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements especially as it relates to payroll- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets & using simple formulas and formatting techniques- Experience working in a Chartered Accounting or Professional Services firm, desirable
