Austal are looking for enthusiastic hands-on people who are ready to be a part of Australia's leading strategic shipbuilder for Defence. Austal is committed to the training and development of future apprentices, and we need you to continue to grow our 2050 strategic plan

**Task's Involved**
- Ability to transfer measurements from plan to task
- Cut material lists for task's
- Accurately set out job as per plan
- Tack tasks into position
- Brace work to hold correct angles/position
- Check all work done
- Welding
- Remove bracings
- Clean job to finished level
- Final check against plans
- Interpreting Navis Works (3D computing designs)
- Ensure Austal Safety procedures and tool SOP’s are followed at all times.
- Keep the work area tidy and assist tradesperson in house keeping.
- Fill out a Take 5 daily.
