The role is responsible for overseeing all Corporate Finance and Technology new & existing contracts to form viable commercial arrangements. The role will ensure effective management of quality contract documentation, submissions, close-out, extensions, renewals, and communicating contractual changes & timelines to all stakeholders. Vendor performance management activities will form a key component of this role, ensuring an optimised outcome from all vendors.

**Key responsibilities** of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Accountable for overseeing all aspects of operational and financial performance of corporate contract agreements including but not limited to Technology, Travel, Financial and Audit agreements.
- Provide advisory services across Corporate Finance and Technology in relation to sourcing, contract management, and vendor performance management.
- Partner with key leaders and stakeholders within the business concerning all contract management lifecycle activities for contracts
- Assist and support project and functional teams to deliver critical commercial requirements including, procurement, administration of contracts, budgets, and disputes.
- Lead contractual interactions with suppliers in order to maintain optimal commercial and financial outcomes, including formal vendor reviews with key suppliers to ensure performance metrics are being met.
- Establish and maintain electronic Contracts Management system or register.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all contract documentation including head agreements and subcontracts.
- Identify commercial gaps within the corporate contract portfolio and lead process improvement activities to achieve an optimal outcome.
- Manage internal and external relationships/stakeholders to achieve critical commercial objectives.
- Compliance to corporate processes and standards as it relates to contract negotiations and ongoing contract performance.

**Role Specific Skills & Experience**:

- Experience leading commercial activities including, sourcing, procurement, and contract management, in a large complex fast paced business.
- Experience managing and evaluating commercial risk
- Experience with high value, high risk contracts.
- Experience with negotiating commercial contracts in Australia (offshore experience desirable)
