- Transdev John Holland Buses has a position available for a Refueller at the **Waverley** depot (close to Bondi Junction train station) on a permanent part-time basis.

The hours of work are 8pm-2am Monday to Friday (6 hours per day with 30 minutes lunch break = 5.5 hours per day/ 27.5 hours paid per week).

Weekend overtime from 3pm to 9pm or 8pm - 2am may be available on Saturdays or Sundays.

**Hourly pay rate**
- $33.3209 + 15% shift allowance.

Your work will support the public transport industry across bus Region 9 in Sydney’s iconic Eastern Suburbs. Working closely with the workshop, you will primarily be responsible for the refuelling of buses, parking of the buses and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area so that the buses operate in a safe, timely and efficient manner. A current full NSW C class drivers licence (or higher) is essential for the role

Please note that additional shifts may be available to cover staff absences and Public Holidays, but these are not guaranteed..

Training will be provided to familiarise with the fuelling process and parking of buses on site.

A FREE Opal card is offered for free travel on buses, ferries, train and light rail 7 days a week (work and personal use).

**Duties will include**:

- Refuelling buses
- Conducting pre-inspection checks to monitor bus conditions
- Reporting any defects, damage or repairs
- Move and park buses in the yard (training provided)
- Complete all required paperwork

**The successful applicant must have**:

- Well developed verbal and written skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proven Maintenance /Fleet knowledge
- Current NSW C class licence (MR or HR preferred but not essential)
- Strong safety focus due to handling flammable products

All applicants must complete a medical including drug and alcohol testing and a national police check. Will also be required to provide recent work references and provide proof of work-rights in Australia.
