We have a vacancy for an **Apprentice Butcher** at our Cambridge butchery and commercial kitchen. The Apprenticeship is an opportunity for an aspiring butcher to begin their career. It is open to school leavers (year 10+) who are ready and eager to learn the skills of the trade. During your apprenticeship through TasTafe, you will learn all about analysing and preparing meat products, customer service, merchandising, stock control, health and safety and much more

You will need to have a positive attitude, good communication skills, the dedication and willingness to learn where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of food professionals including chefs, cooks and butchers. You must be prepared to work with and around meat in a manufacturing / production environment.

This role is full-time, day work only with no weekends or spilt shifts. Additional hours outside of these may be required over peak trading seasons.
