**About the Role**:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an exceptional Consultant - Infectious Diseases to join our team within the Division of Medicine.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As a key member of the unit, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert clinical advice, leadership and guidance on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing evidence-based strategies, protocols and policies to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment that embraces innovation and continuous improvement. Your ability to communicate complex medical information effectively to diverse stakeholders will be invaluable in facilitating seamless patient care and enhancing community health outcomes.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

Lyell McEwin Hospital **-** The major hospital in the north and north-east for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetrics, paediatrics and outpatient services.

Modbury Hospital **-** A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
