Hours per week: 38
Location: Hadfield VIC

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Perform routine road maintenance tasks under Moreland’s Road Asset Management Plan, and road maintenance guidelines as directed by Team Leaders, Works Officers, or Unit Managers.
- Repair of drainage pits and pipes, carry out minor concrete repairs and carry out asphalt road and footpath repairs.
- Assist other Council units as required
- Repair and install various road signs, street furniture, fences, guardrails, and other assets as required.
- Operate a Concrete Grinding Machine for grinding lips on concrete footpaths and channels, including cleaning up residue.
- Drive and operate trucks up to 22400 GVM which includes towing of various items i.e., Trailers and compressors.
- Drive and Operate Ride on Rollers to compact Road making materials
- Assist in all tasks including labouring as required.
- Assist in the erection and maintenance of roadwork signs.
- Operate various small plants as required e.g., concrete saws, vibrating plates

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- A current Victorian Drivers Licence with a minimum Heavy Rigid Truck Licence endorsement
- Competent in the operation of asphalt and concrete cutting machines
- Competent in the operation of smooth drums and other rollers used in Road Maintenance and Construction
- Safe and competent driving and operation of vehicles up to 22400GVM
