Banyo, Australia Mixers Global Pty Ltd trading as Mixers Australia Full time

We have won a major project from one of the largest vertically integrated construction materials companies in Australia. We now need to recruit a team of highly skilled trades persons on a short-term contact basis.

In this role you will
- Fit various parts to assemble mixers, eg frames, barrels, motors, gearboxes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and schematics.
- Carry out manual handling of parts, use hand-tools and special tools for precision works.
- Diagnose, repair, install or remove any engineering components eg hydraulics systems, electronic control systems/sensors.
- Diagnose, repair and replace hydraulics components.
- Assemble sub assemblies and other parts to produce equipment.
- Complete all tasks as per supervisor's written and verbal instructions.
- Complete work safely, ensuring all Safe Work and environmental requirements are being met.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure protective clothing is being used when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Test, charge, replace or jump start batteries.
- Tag out and notify your supervisor of any tools or instruments that are not working correctly.
- Ensure work areas and any issued work vehicles and machinery are kept clean and a safe environment is maintained.
- Ensure good time management is used on all jobs and work carried out.

You will need
- Trade qualifications (mandatory).
- 5 years + experience in cement mixer/concrete agitator manufacturing industry, ranging from 2.6m up to 9m bowl mixing capacity.
- Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current forklift licence (desirable).
- Current open manual driver's licence (desirable).

**Job Type**: Fixed term
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
