If you are a self-starter, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Parking Ranger to join the Ranger Services team.

Working predominately in the field, this position is responsible for patrolling the local area in clearly marked vehicles and by foot. When infringements occur, you will be responsible for issuing expiations, orders and written warnings, and give evidence in respect to any court proceedings whilst promoting a positive and professional image of the Council.

Previous experience in regulatory services or a compliance position with knowledge of the various Acts to carry out the numerous functions of this role would be an advantage. With well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, you will have a strong customer service focus with an ability to deal with conflict situations and successfully negotiate solutions. You must possess a current SA Driver’s Licence and have proven ability to manage domestic animals.

This position is offered as a permanent, full-time position classified at Level 3 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
