Max Door Solutions specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and service of a range of high speed automated industrial doors and allied products throughout Australia. Based on the Gold Coast, we’re a business that has experienced outstanding growth and is subsequently looking for committed people to join our Production team in the position of Factory Hand on a casual basis.

About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and focused individual with hand tool and basic machine operating skills and an understanding of safety in the workplace. Reporting to the Production Manager you will work collaboratively with your production team, responsible for assembly of a range of Specialty Doors i.e. High-Speed Doors, Insulated Sectional Doors, Acoustic Doors and allied products delivering quality and on-time outcomes. You will receive training on a range of systems and equipment to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

The key functions of the role are listed below but not limited to
- Assembly of doors and allied products
- Working with hand tools, band saws, pneumatic presses, etc.
- Working to procedure and schedules
- Delivery and collection of components
- Receiving and dispatch
- Periodic stocktakes

About You:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with power tools
- Hold current drivers
- Hold current forklift licence (desirable)
- Excellent hand skills
- Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
- Have an ability to work autonomously and with others when required and show good communication and team work skills
- Be physically fit, motivated and reliable and a willingness to do manual handling
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
