Immediate requirement for a Mechanical Trade Assistant to assist an industrial laboratory testing products for

**Your new company**

You will be working for the building component's division of the business whilst they recruit for a permanent employee. The position available is a Mechanical Trade Assistant/Machine Operator who will assist the team in testing finished goods at a unique facility in Western Sydney. The role is working Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm.

**Your new role**

In the role you will be required to assemble, cut, or load final products for testing. You will be required to read technical drawings to meet the demands of the testing, whilst the analysis of the testing will be conducted by the laboratory team. There is a requirement to move products around the testing facility, this will be manually and on a forklift. All processes are in place to carry out the duties and instructions/guidance will be provided.

**What you'll need to succeed**

This position needs someone who is comfortably mechanically minded, happy to use power tools and is confident using production machinery (with instructions). It would suit someone who has worked as a Machine Operator, Sheet Metal Worker, Trade Assistant or Fitter/Turner. As this is a temporary role, we need an individual who can hit the ground running. You will need to be physically fit and available to start immediately.

**What you'll get in return**

Hourly rate: $30 - $35 dependent on level of qualifications and experience

Hours: 7am - 3pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Location: Western Sydney

Temporary/Casual position with the opportunity to go permanent if you demonstrate the skills, work ethic and capabilities they are looking for in the permanent employee they are hiring for.
