**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Salary**: $92,375 to $101,744 p.a. pro rata (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) + 11.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
**Time Fraction**:Full time 1.0 EFT.
**Location**:Drummond Street campus, onsite parking.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6 month qualifying period.

This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by facilitating apprentices transition, fostering positive learning experiences, and strengthening employer relationships.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Serve as the first point of contact for apprentices, trainees, and employers to ensure a smooth transition into the adult education learning environment.
- Responsible for the onboarding process and delivery of induction programs including site visits with apprentices and employers.
- Adherence to compliance requirements associated with apprenticeships and traineeships.
- Act as a conduit to connect apprentices and trainees with relevant support services including learning support, counselling, employment and personal challenges.
- Support apprentices and trainees through their educational journey, fostering retention and career outcomes.
- Establish professional networks with employers, community organisations, and apprenticeship support networks to enhance the student experience.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Practical experience in engaging and supporting apprentices and trainees, particularly in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship compliance requirements, training packages, and mentoring strategies for young students.
- A degree in careers advice, job placement, employment services, or a related field (or relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications).
- A current valid driver’s license is essential.
