Parks Assistants are responsible for undertaking duties to support Council's operations and maintenance of parks, gardens, street and townscapes.

Allstaff Australia are seeking Parks Assistants to carry out natural areas’ conservation and maintenance duties. $34.20 per hour. 38 hour week (Monday to Friday, 06:30am-15:30)

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Mowing operations in parks & gardens. Nature strips and sidelines.
- Accurately operating a whipper snipper and mower.
- **Physical manual labour (weeding, litter picking, unloading/loading vehicle)**:

- Natural area conservation, soft landscaping.
- Conduct self in a professional manner and maintain good working relationships.
- Correctly use and maintain plant and equipment provided, including all personal protective equipment.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must be Triple Vaccinated against Covid-19 (3rd Booster Shot).
- Must hold a current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Physically fit and healthy/able to work outdoors in the elements.
