**Assistant Manager / Head Barista - Elster Elsternwick**

We’re on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager / Head Barista to join our friendly team at Elster Elsternwick, a vibrant local café known for great coffee, quality food, and genuine hospitality.

**About the Role**:
As Assistant Manager / Head Barista, you’ll play a key role in leading our front-of-house team, delivering consistently excellent coffee, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in both customer service and team leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the coffee program and ensure quality and consistency
- Manage daily service and support FOH team during busy periods
- Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with regulars
- Assist in staff training, rostering, and stock management
- Support the Venue Manager with operational duties as required

**About You**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Head Barista or leadership role
- Strong barista skills and a passion for specialty coffee
- Positive, calm, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Confident leading a team and stepping into a management role
- Availability to work weekends
