In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. We are looking for 2 X Care Service Employees, must be able to work on 24/7 shifts AM, PM & Night Duties. These individuals will be located in our homely facility at St Francis, Plumpton Facility.

**As a Care Service Employee, you will**:

- Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
- Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
- Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty
- Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort
- Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.
- Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Experience in similar role in aged care
- A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity
- Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts

The Care Service Employee is responsible for performing basic routine functions and duties within the residential aged care facility. The position is casual and is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.
