An exciting opportunity has come up for a Venue Managers to join our team at some of Australia’s most picturesque and iconic Aquatic Venues.

We are seeking Centre Mangers to lead our teams at

**Drummoyne Swimming Centre**and**Cabarita Swimming Pool**

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Centre Manager to lead the teams and deliver exceptional customer experience and operational excellence at Cabarita Swimming Pool and Drummoyne Swimming Centre.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and employees through effective planning and oversight of polices, processes and procedures.
- Accountable for the effective running of the facility’s operational functions.
- Lead and drive a high performance community minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
- Achievement of budgeted performance targets.
- Maintain a high value relationship with ourcouncil partner.
- Implement a high value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
- Recruitment of energetic, diverse and passionate employees as required
- Train staff as required to ensure that knowledge and capability are at the required levels to enable staff to carry out their work and achieve their objectives.
- Maintain facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Legal working rights in Australia
- Pool Life Guard Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)

**Desirable**
- Minimum 2 years experience in aquatic operations
- Pool Operators Certificate
- Experience managing or supervising an aquatic facility
- Swim School processes and knowledge
