Fantastic opportunity exists for a qualified trainer and leader to join the CFS Learning and Development Directorate in the Urban Training Team. This diverse and rewarding role involves team and budget management, course development and training delivery of quality training products across a range of firefighting roles including structure fire, road crash rescue, HazMat response and other specialist services. As a Team Leader you will engage with a team of direct reports, other staff and volunteers across South Australia enabling the work of CFS as an all-hazards fire and rescue service. You will also be responsible for building training capabilities of others, through mentoring and formal assessment processes.

**Primary purpose**
***
- Manage, develop and deliver service level and nationally accredited training programs, as required by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, organisational requirements, Risk and Capability, Role Requirements and endorsed Training Pathways.
- Manage a team of State Training Officers in the development of training and assessment strategies associated with specific capability stream[s].
- Manage a component of the OTPD budget as allocated.
- Manage the implementation of training standards and plans for training within the State Training Strategic Plan.

**Essential qualifications**

PUA20719 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations), or its equivalent; and
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
Or A diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
