**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Yarrow Place** team as an** Allied Health Assistant - Social Work,**where you will be responsible for:

- Contributing to quality consumer-centred care in line with WCHN Values by performing tasks consistent with approved clinical policies, procedures, and protocols within the Social Work Team.
- Assisting with organising and planning external services based on consumer and organisational needs, as directed by the allocated Social Worker.
- Assisting with organising activities and workshops conducted by the Social Work Team to improve consumer and organisational outcomes.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely service delivery that meets consumer needs.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Possess or be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or hold or obtain training in an equivalent area of study OR hold relevant experience equivalent to Cert III training.
- Ability to use your initiative and prioritise your work
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timelines are met
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy and a trauma informed approach when dealing with external consumers
- Experience working with consumers and stakeholders, often with complex needs
- Experience in working in teams to achieve good outcomes for consumers
