**Service Leader North Brisbane**

We have an amazing opportunity for you, if you are already leading teams and seeking a leadership role located in North Brisbane. The role is a permanent part-time supervisory position, ensuring external support workers deliver appropriate services to the people we support living with various disabilities in a supported accommodation setting, as well as rostered hours providing direct support.

**About the position**

In this position you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of our residential care service including general administration tasks, roster co-ordination, provide leadership guidance and supports to all Support Staff while adhering to all WHS policies and procedures.

Working closely with our Area Manager to consult on positive behaviour support plans, culture awareness and development of the team and ensuring the service is managed in alignment with UDC's mission and values. The flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts is preferred.

**Prior to commencement you will need the following**
- Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Work Rights to work in Australia ie: Birth Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Certificate
- Smart Phone
- Caring for people who have a disability or dual diagnosis Mental Health desirable
- Managing challenging and/or unusual behaviours or complex behaviours desirable
- CERT III or IV in Disability/Mental Health/Community Services or equivalent advantageous

Training and support will be provided, including staff induction and service orientation buddy shifts.
