Laboratory Technician

**Laboratory Technician**

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team located at Pinkenba. This opportunity will see you working alongside and gaining valuable experience from a highly experienced team of professionals.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Perform sampling/testing of cement and cement related products to recognised and approved methods
- Ensure equipment is maintained in working order and condition
- Check calculations on worksheets
- Compile and dispatch records
- Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations
- Develop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements

**What You'll Bring**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills communicating with management, customers and team members
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
- Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
