Dakabin State School is a school of approximately 580 students, we are situated in Kallangur, just north of Brisbane. We provide a robust curriculum for students ranging from Prep to Year 6. Additionally, we provide an array of extra-curricular offerings including musicals, sport and instrumental programs. We provide students with a curriculum based on the individual needs of each student. We work hard with students through our social skilling program to ensure there is an understanding of the differences in people and how we work together in teams. This sets our students up to become life-long learners.
Alongside our outstanding educational opportunities, we are excited to offer our students a comprehensive extra-curricular program. Our focus is on providing an excellent teaching and learning environment allowing children to achieve academic success and develop positive social and emotional skills. We provide a supportive and caring environment which helps to motivate children.

Our school motto, 'Together We Achieve' emphasises the importance of being a team and working together. Strong partnerships exist between school staff, students and parents/caregivers. We encourage the involvement of parents / carers and our community in school life at Dakabin State School. We are fortunate to have a strong and supportive Parents and Citizens Association.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - 2-pg written statement in response to the attached role description.
